MyGov 2021

MyGov is one type of personal app to use range of different services like

• Australian JobSearch
• Australian Taxation Office
• Centrelink
• Child Support
• Department of Health Applications Portal
• Department of Veterans’ Affairs
• HousingVic Online Services
• Medicare
• My Aged Care
• My Health Record
• National Disability Insurance Scheme
• National Redress Scheme
• State Revenue Office Victoria.

To access above all services, first, you need to link the account with Australian Taxation Office. Firstly, you need to create my gov account for 2020-21 and provide your valid details to ATO. then you can link to Centrelink, Medicare or child support.

Once you have linked your account to MyGov services, you will get notification for any dues in your inbox for 2020-21. You can also update your personal details with help of my Gov app. You don’t need to worry; your details should be confidential and secure. In case if you are overseas you can still access your online account.

Whenever you try to sign in your account, always ask for an SMS code for sign in and verify that you are the same person to log in the account.

When you download the app and fill in all your basic details, the app is asking a secret question. There are 7 security questions and you can select any 3 questions. So, you will need to answer 3 questions for security purposes. You must have an answer to the security question. And once you set up your app, you can access overseas as well. Once you have done your app, it doesn’t matter if you have the internet or not, you can still get access codes. Please note if you log in via security question, you should give all answers correct.  Please make sure before you travel overseas, you need to set up your MyGov app and while you are overseas you can access through codes of your app. If you want to check your income statement or super amount, you need to log in MyGov app and sign in in your MyGov account.
